The 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship was a college football bowl game played on January 10, 2022, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. The game was a rematch of the 2017 College Football Playoff National Championship, which Alabama won 26–23 in overtime. Georgia defeated Alabama 33–18, winning their first national title in football since 1980.
