Arsenal have been handed a daunting task in the UEFA Champions League group stage draw as they were placed in Group C alongside European giants Bayern Munich, Barcelona, and Inter Milan.
Bayern Munich: A formidable opponent
Bayern Munich are the current Bundesliga champions and one of the favorites to win this season's Champions League. They boast a star-studded squad led by Robert Lewandowski, Thomas Muller and Leon Goretzka.
Barcelona: A familiar foe
Barcelona are another familiar foe for Arsenal, having faced them twice in the Champions League final in 2006 and 2011. The Spanish giants have been rebuilding in recent years, but they still boast a dangerous attack led by Lionel Messi.
Inter Milan: A dark horse
Inter Milan are a bit of a dark horse in this group but are not to be underestimated. The Italian club has won the Champions League three times and has a talented squad led by Lautaro Martinez, Romelu Lukaku, and Nicolo Barella.
